Remember I mentioned this anti war protestor before? no? well still this is one of the many examples of how we're losing freedom of speech: Peace activist Brian Haw may have to end his five-year demonstration outside Parliament as the government has won an appeal against an earlier legal ruling. Last July, Mr Haw, won a High Court action against The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 that threatens his protest, but the Court of Appeal have now overturned that decision. In the night of the 26th of May a total of 78 police officers were used (at a cost of £7,200!) in a night-time operation to 'crack down' on the anti-war protest
